River Recipes - or, "How to Cook What You Catch"

There are a lot of traditional Southern foods that are delicious - like fried chicken, corn bread, and sweet potato pie. There are also some Southern foods that are gross and nasty - like boiled okra. We won't be covering any of those recipes here.

In these pages you will find instructions for preparing some foods you can find in the marsh...and a few snacky things you can take with you. Some of these recipes are yummy and some are just too much work, but here you are - cook them up and chow down!
